The beautifully balanced 2011 Saumur Eolithe is dressed in a dark cherry robe and offers a very elegant, fresh and harmonious nose of dark fruit flavors ( blueberries!) enriched with spicy aromas of tobacco, cigar box and graphite. Medium-bodied and fresh, but concentrated in its perfectly ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries and black berries and extremely well-balanced due to its silky tannins and the delicate acidity, this highly elegant and refined Cabernet Franc from the monopole of Fosse-Sèche finishes with a good and stimulating grip.
